SKF Adapter sleeves can be used on smooth or stepped shafts, they are the mostly commonly used for locating tapered inner bore bearings onto a cylindrical seat. SKF Sleeve OH3172H is used to locate the bearing 23172CCK/W33 on the shaft, then the bearing will be accurately positioned axially and bearing dismounting is also facilitated.
